Nexum BioEnergy intends to acquire, own, and operate facilities in North America.

There are currently approximately 180 operating ethanol plants in North America. With the anticipated long term increase in energy prices (natural gas and electricity) and downward pressure on DDG prices due to market saturation, Nexum BioEnergy expects there to be a market opportunity to improve these plants, help face the challenges of the industry, and reduce their dependence on traditional feedstocks, DDG, and energy inputs.

Nexum intends to acquire distressed ethanol production assets and substantially increase the profitability and the market value of the obtained facilities through the implementation of the proprietary Nexum Process.
